Thankfully, you don’t have to look far and wide just to find the right movie. Here are some dog holiday movies that will surely add more happiness to you, to your family, and most especially, to your pooch!
How the Grinch Stole Christmas
Sure enough, the Grinch is kind of a scary and mischievous character. However, Max, his dog, is just adorable. He is a great addition to the movie. He seems to not like what his master is doing, but nevertheless, he stood there innocently and makes our hearts melt. The movie was first released in 1966 and a recent live-action version of this movie is also available.
Iron Will
Okay, this one isn’t exactly a holiday movie, but its setting is in the winter. So, it counts. Iron Will is about a man who joined a dog-sled race. He is hoping to win the race to help and save his family’s farm.
The story floats around the struggles and hardships that this man has to go through together with his dogs led by Gus – a delightful and tough Siberian Husky. Iron Will is a great movie to watch with your dog and family as it teaches the value of perseverance.
The Nightmare Before Christmas
Don’t let the title fool you. It is actually a product of Tim Burton’s imagination and we know what that means. In this somewhat scary but sweet movie, viewers are introduced to a world of terrifying monsters and the undead.
Jack Skellington is the star of the show, but the show is not complete without his loyal ghost pup named Zero. Jack discovered a new world outside of theirs. There, he found out about a new event called Christmas. He then had a brilliant idea of trying to run Christmas and the resulting chaos and fun are just perfect for you and your pup.
Beethoven’s Christmas Adventure
A Christmas elf accidentally crash lands in a small town and loses his magic toy bag. In this hilarious and captivating movie, Beethoven, a talking dog, helps the elf to recover the magic toy bag from greedy criminals. Check out this movie if you want to have loveable moments with your furry friend.
Marley & Me
This movie was based on the popular book written by John Grogan. Starring Jenifer Aniston and Owen Wilson, Marley & Me is a heartfelt movie about a mischievous but endearing Labrador named Marley. 80% of Dogs Develop Arthritis or Joint Pain by 7 Years old – Here’s How to Protect Them
Most of us train our dogs when they are puppies to jump up on furniture. We think it’s harmless (and easier than always lifting them), but for dogs, couches and beds are very high compared to the size of their bodies.
Every time they jump it compresses their back and applies enormous force to their joints.
It’s no wonder that an incredible 80% of dogs experience arthritis or joint pain by only 7 years old.
Luckily, there is a vet-recommended solution.
It’s the PawRamp by Alpha Paw. An adjustable ramp that allows dogs to safely get on and off couches and beds. PawRamp makes joining you in bed or on the couch effortless and fun.
As a bonus, you can use code SAVE35 to get $35 off the PawRamp today.
