Meet Tom

Tom is adventurous, assertive, energetic and determined. He is usually fearless but shows concern and worry when visiting an unfamiliar place. Tom is a pleasure seeker and adaptable. He looks forward to living a comfortable and pampered life! Tom is calm, easy to hold and will knead on his human companion's arm. His ideal home is with an individual, couple or family. Tom has a genuine concern for littermate Jerri; they get along with minimal difficulty and work together when the situation calls for it! He should be fine with a cat-friendly dog. Tom is a brown tiger tabby. As of December 2024, Tom is 4 months old.      Friends of Jackson County Animal Shelter Pets (FJCASP) is a foster-based rescue for dogs and cats. All pets are in a home environment cared for by a foster person who provides temporary care until the pet can be placed in a permanent home. Friends of Jackson County is an all-volunteer, nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization. Adoption Process
Prospective adopter must fill out application/contract. Our adoption coordinator calls to verify that all other animals in the home are under vet care and utd on vaccinations, preventatives and are spayed/neutered. Home visits are done to verify fenced yard, shelter, etc. Our normal adoption fee is $50.00
