Meet Stetson

Big boy Stetson is definitely the closest you will ever get to a real life teddy bear. All 11 lbs. of him is just pure love.  You can pet his creamy fur anywhere or squeeze his chubby little cheeks tight, and those golden eyes will squeeze shut in satisfaction - followed by the loudest purr you have ever heard!     Aside from sleeping and eating, Stetson enjoys a good conversation (he will talk your ear off!), indulging in "the catnip", and bravely hunting his favorite furry mouse toy all around the house.      Stetson would do well in just about any home environment.  He is good with other cats (females only!), dogs, and humans of any age.  He is as gentle as they come.     Stetson is fostered in Huntsville, AL, but transport can be arranged up to two hours away.  He is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, litter box trained, and FIV/FeLV negative.  If you would like to meet Stetson, please complete an application at https://forrescue.net/cat-application/ and his foster mom will be in touch!

Adoption Process
Applicants fill out an application. We do phone interviews, vet checks, and home visit. Then they pay adoption fee and sign a contract. They get a folder with all the vet records of the animal. Animals are placed based on what is best for the animal and their needs.
