Meet Mandy
Mandy is a social kitty toward people and will come to her human companion for attention. She will be comfortable in her human companion's presence where Mandy feels safe and comfortable with you as she knows you are her source of reassurance and security, and she wants to be close to you. Along with Mandy's adoring behavior, she communicates with vocal "meows!" Mandy treasures climbing a cat tower as she likes to climb to high places to observe her surroundings and cement her status! She certainly secured her position by climbing up and coming down a chimney!! Mandy's ideal home is with an individual, couple or family. She is not relaxed around other pets, at times she will hiss, growl or bow up. It would be best if Mandy is the only feline in the home. She is a 6-year-old solid black American Shorthair with a sturdy and broad build. Mandy's adoption fee is $60. Friends of Jackson County Animal Shelter Pets (FJCASP) is a foster-based rescue for dogs and cats.
