Meet Ford

Ford likes to cuddle, he is a flower gardener, and he goes beyond normal in a way that is fun! Ford navigates toward a heated blanket and will curl up with his human companion. He goes bonkers for crinkly toys and cat springs. Ford is a huge fan of catnip treats. He will help you prepare the soil by digging and unearthing your flower planters! Ford will choose how the flowers are arranged! His ideal home is with an individual, couple or family; Ford is around children of various ages and accustomed to a loud home environment. He has a black medium length coat, white mitted paws and a short tail. As of January 2025, Ford is 4 months old. Friends of Jackson County Animal Shelter Pets (FJCASP) is a foster-based rescue for dogs and cats. All pets are in a home environment cared for by a foster person who provides temporary care until the pet can be placed in a permanent home. Friends of Jackson County is an all-volunteer, nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization. Adoption Process
Prospective adopter must fill out application/contract. Our adoption coordinator calls to verify that all other animals in the home are under vet care and utd on vaccinations, preventatives and are spayed/neutered. Home visits are done to verify fenced yard, shelter, etc. Our normal adoption fee is $50.00
