Meet Fern

  Fern is cultivated for her beauty. She is valued for her glamorous and alluring quality. Fern is a popular choice to be your garden companion or hanging around inside. She is independent and resilient. Fern is curious, has a passion to explore and chases after toys. She cherishes catnip and squeeze up treats. Fern is bashful and modest but warms up quickly. Her ideal home is with an individual, couple or family; Fern is surrounded by school age children of various ages. She is accustomed to being around other cats; Fern plays with littermates Rose and Sonny. She should do okay with a cat-friendly dog. Fern is solid black with lush green eyes. As of September 2024, Fern is five months old.      Friends of Jackson County Animal Shelter Pets (FJCASP) is a foster-based rescue for dogs and cats. All pets are in a home environment cared for by a foster person who provides temporary care until the pet can be placed in a permanent home. Friends of Jackson County is an all-volunteer, nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization. Adoption Process
Prospective adopter must fill out application/contract. Our adoption coordinator calls to verify that all other animals in the home are under vet care and utd on vaccinations, preventatives and are spayed/neutered. Home visits are done to verify fenced yard, shelter, etc. Our normal adoption fee is $50.00
