Meet Sunny (Adoption pending)
Sunny is bright, happy and dazzling! He goes for chasing the red dot from a laser light. Sunny gets a charge out of treats, can be quite sneaky in getting his share and does it in the most adorable way. He is the king of pouncing, Sunny is going to dive right on an object, moving or not! He is a high energy boy and has lots of get-up-and-go. Sunny is social and spirited. His ideal home is with an individual, couple or family; Sunny is bear-hugged by school age children of various ages. He is exposed to other cats, Sunny pranks his littermates Fern and Rose. He should be agreeable with a cat-friendly dog. Sunny is smooth solid black with a short coat. As of September 2024, Sunny is five months old. Friends of Jackson County Animal Shelter Pets (FJCASP) is a foster-based rescue for dogs and cats. All pets are in a home environment cared for by a foster person who provides temporary care until the pet can be placed in a permanent home. Friends of Jackson County is an all-volunteer, nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization. Adoption Process
Prospective adopter must fill out application/contract. Our adoption coordinator calls to verify that all other animals in the home are under vet care and utd on vaccinations, preventatives and are spayed/neutered. Home visits are done to verify fenced yard, shelter, etc. Our normal adoption fee is $50.00
