Approximate Date of Birth:  04/08/2023 Description:   Hi! My name is Shrek, and I am a shy guy initially, but it does not take me too long to get comfortable. I like to watch a situation for a bit before I jump in. I love to follow my people around and be in whatever room they are in. I get nervous about being picked up when you are standing over me, but if you sit on the floor or the bed or couch, and let me come to you, I am very easy to pick up and to handle. I will even let you trim my nails. I love having feline and canine friends to play and nap with. Napping and playing is always better with friends. I love wand toys and toys that you can throw for me to chase. I am very fond of a nice box with packing paper in it! I also love food and will try to check out what everyone else might be eating, including the dogs food; it smells so yummy! I like to explore, help you around the house, and cuddle at night while we are watching tv. I might lay on your lap, your shoulder, or just right next to you. Give me a super soft blanket and I will make lovely biscuits and purr away. Good with Cats:   Loves cats; requires a companion animal if home alone for a long time. Good with Dogs:   Animal needs company and would do well if companion animal was a dog. Good with Children:   Can live in a house with children over the age of 8. Companion Animal: Requires a companion animal if home alone for long periods of time. Health information: All cats and kittens will be spayed or neutered, FeLV / FIV tested (as indicated by age), receive vaccinations appropriate for age, preventative deworming, and microchipping prior to adoption as appropriate by age. Adoption Process:   Our adoptable animals are located at one of our adoption centers or in foster homes. We require interested parties to apply prior to meeting to ensure a good match. Adoption Process
All adopters must complete an application with possible brief interview if there are additional questions concerning the application. All adopters also sign an adoption contract and pay an adoption fee depending on the age, breed, and status of the cat (special needs etc).
