Kahlua is just ten years young and looking for a loving home at the shelter. Kahlua came into the shelter as a stray so we have no history on him, but we do know that he is a super sweetheart and very calm. Kahlua greets you at the front of the cage and loves any and all attention you give him. He loves being petted and will rub his head against you affectionately and knead. Although he is not a fan of being held, he adores loving attention.Kahlua is missing some teeth which makes his tongue stick out a bit sometimes, which only adds to how adorable he is. :-) Kahlua has an appointment for a dental soon so he will have have his remaining teeth taken care of and be good as new! Kahlua is such a gentle, affectionate boy. He has SO MUCH LOVE to give, please give him a chance to steal your heart! Kahlua's adoption fee has been sponsored!

Adoption Process
Adopters fill out a 2-page questionnaire, interview with a staff person, and pay the adoption fee. We are in the process of transitioning to "open adoptions" with few formalized requirements. The full adoption fees are approximately $160 for dogs and $110 for cats, but we have regular 'specials'.
