MediumMeet Kissy, the gorgeous long haired kitty! Volunteers report that Kissy is very sweet, loves head scratches and enjoys cuddling up with them during her TLC time at Shelter. In her previous home, Kissy has a history of using her litterbox reliably in her previous home. Kissy has lived indoor/outdoor previously but due to her age and her long, gorgeous coat â we are recommending adopters have her indoors only with, potentially, some supervised outdoor time during morning coffee or via a Catio. Kissyâs adoption fee is reduced by $20 thanks to Shelleyâs Angels â a fund that draws adopterâs eyes towards often overlooked senior cats in the Shelter. Please note: Our Santa Cruz locationâs Shelter hours are 11-6pm, 7 days a week! Although clients can walk through and see any animals in their kennels during open hours, we end âmeet and greetsâ (aka meeting an animal out of the kennel) at 4:30pm every day. If youâd like to meet an animal out of the kennel, please arrive before 4:00pm to allow for time to discuss individual animals and meet them.
