Meet Little Boy

Meet Little Boy (A214368)! Little Boy is just 10 months old and looking for a loving home at the shelter, along with his brother and buddy Big Boy. The boys lost their home simply because their guardian had too many cats and could not afford to take care of them properly. Little Boy was loved. He was raised indoors only and is shy of strangers. However, once he gets to know you he warms up and will be your best friend. Little Boy is very affectionate and likes to lay on people and sometimes sleeps with them at night. Little Boy is a talker and you can have conversations with him. :-) Although Little Boy is buddies with his brother, they do not necessarily have to be adopted together. Little Boy is good with other cats and should do fine in a household with other kitties, after a very slow, gradual introduction of course. Because Little Boy is sensitive, a quieter home without young children would be best. Little Boy has never met a dog and would likely find them scary, but he may be okay with one, depending on the dog.

Adoption Process
Adopters fill out a 2-page questionnaire, interview with a staff person, and pay the adoption fee. We are in the process of transitioning to "open adoptions" with few formalized requirements. The full adoption fees are approximately $160 for dogs and $110 for cats, but we have regular 'specials'.
