Astra's beauty can be lost in Celeste's glow, but don't let her fool you. Give her time to shine and she will prove affectionate and playful with a likelihood of becoming a lap cat. Let her be your snuggle buddy while you watch TV or read a book. Astra will need to be adopted with her BFF Celeste (calico). Thank you for considering a rescued kitten!! HALO's cats and kittens can be seen at Pet Food Express in Antioch and Clayton. Please check ahead to see which store the kitty you are interested in will be at. Please bring your own carrier! Antioch hours are every Friday 4pm-7pm plus Saturday and Sunday 10am-1:30pm (except the third Saturday, we do not have an adoption event). Antioch store is located at 5829 Lone Tree Way, Suite B, Antioch, CA. Clayton hours are every Saturday and Sunday, 10:30am-2pm. Clayton store is located at 5404 Ygnacio Valley Rd. Adoption Process
Fees vary on the animals expenses paid anywhere from $50.00 to $300.00. Application is filled out and SECURE FENCING REQUIRED FOR ALL OF OUR RESCUED DOGS.
If you are considering adopting a dog through HALO Here are some helpful hints:
Bring pictures of your yard to show secure fencing. Most of our dogs require a 6 foot fenced yard. Yards must be cleared of any fox tail weeds.
We do adopt small dogs to apartments or condo and need to see pictures of the patio or balcony area.
If you rent, please bring copy of your lease to show you can have pets and any size restrictions.
We do not adopt to homes with children under the age of five unless we know the history of the dog with young children. All Children MUST be present at adoption.
If you own a dog and are looking for a friend please bring your dog with you so they can be introduced.
