Meet Mocha

Meet Mocha, the most handsome Snowshoe Siamese type gentleman, just about twelve years young and looking for a loving home at the shelter! Mocha was found as a stray very underweight and needing some TLC. Mocha has been nothing but the sweetest gentleman at the shelter. He loves everybody and will get up from laying down on his bed to walk to the front of his cage to solicit attention from you when you walk up to his cage every single time. He just wants love and companionship. Mocha enjoys being held and carried around and likes to look out the window. If he's with you, he's happy! Mocha is a kind-hearted, gentle boy who enjoys a gentle loving touch. A busy household might be too much for him, but it depends on the situation. He doesn't seem to mind the other cats he's seen at the shelter so we think he'd do just fine with other kitties with a slow, gradual introduction. We don't know how he would be with a dog, but if they respected his space and left him alone he'd probably adjust. Little kids might be too much for him, but he loves people and attention, so depending on the situation he could love the extra attention. Please spend some time with him and see if he could be the right fit for you!

Adoption Process
Adopters fill out a 2-page questionnaire, interview with a staff person, and pay the adoption fee. We are in the process of transitioning to "open adoptions" with few formalized requirements. The full adoption fees are approximately $160 for dogs and $110 for cats, but we have regular 'specials'.
