Saving Pets One at a Time

SPOT was created to fill the need to save animals who “fall through the cracks” in our sheltering system. Local shelters are overwhelmed—they receive so many strays and owner turn-ins that they run out of space and have to kill thousands of animals each year. The majority of these animals are healthy and simply need to be placed into a home. Others are medical cases which require some work, but do not have life-threatening diseases or injuries. And a few have some moderate behavior issues; we work with specialists to correct these behaviors before finding them their forever home. The bottom line is SPOT can save these lives.

Meet Shuri

Meet Shuri!   This sweet tabby lady was born approximately 9/12/2022.   Shuri is a small bundle of love. She loves to talk, especially with coos and squeaks. She loves attention and when in your lap she'll nuzzle and loves to make biscuits endlessly. She is an older kitten and still plays like a kitten, but has definitely mellowed in general.   In her foster home she has met resident cats who she is very interested to make friends with. The resident dogs she has met aren't her favorite but she's learning to live alongside them.   As with all SPOT cats and kittens, Shuri is spayed, she's up-to-date on her vaccines, she's been dewormed, she was screened negative for FELV, and she's micro chipped.   Her adoption fee is $150.00. If you're interested in adopting Shuri, please fill out the cat adoption application below: http://spotsavespets.org/adoption-application-cats To follow updates on SPOT kittens finding their "fur"ever family, LIKE us on Facebook: https://facebook.com/spotsavespets/

Adoption Process
SPOT adopts puppies for $225, dogs for $175 and offers senior discounts (for both animals and people!) Our kittens are $125 and teenagers and adults are much less. We often have lovely low pricing during kitten season. We will ask you to complete an adoption application and then we will schedule a home safety visit, to be sure there are no inadvertent dangers in your home or yard. We will arrange a meet and greet so that your whole family can meet your new pet before adopting.
