It is a long read and a long adoption process. Please understand we are ensuring that our babies go to great homes and we don't know you personally (yet). Understand that this is an adoption of a beautiful little soul that deserves the absolute best life. The average lifespan of a cat is 13 to 20 years. Some cats even live into their thirties, although this is far less common. So don't let that discourage you from adopting an adult cat!  DETECTIVE ELLIOT STABLER was living in a neighborhood in Colton, California. The nice man is taking care of a colony of feral cats that live in his area and yard. We helped him get 6 cats fixed. When we picked them up, we noticed that DETECTIVE ELLIOT STABLER was not feral. He was just very timid and scared. And he is so handsome. Sweet too!  Meet DETECTIVE ELLIOT STABLER, an orange and white tabby from Colton, California, whose quiet charm and gentle soul are sure to capture your heart. With his soft, fluffy fur and big, round eyes, DETECTIVE ELLIOT STABLER is a true gentle giant. Despite being a little on the shy side, this affectionate boy has a heart of gold and is just starting to show his true colors. DETECTIVE ELLIOT STABLER may be timid at first, but once he feels safe and secure, he’s a loving companion who will allow you to pet him. Though he’s still learning to trust, he is slowly gaining confidence and opening up to the joys of being loved and cared for. His submissive nature means he’s not likely to demand attention, but if you’re patient with him, he’ll show his appreciation in the sweetest ways, whether with a soft purr or a little head nudge to say "thank you" for your kindness. As a big boy, DETECTIVE ELLIOT STABLER may seem a bit intimidating at first glance, but don’t let his size fool you—he’s a big softie at heart. Pay Adoption Fee (VENMO - ZELLE - PAYPAL or CASH) 10. Take the Kitty Home   ********* MAY CONSIDER OUT OF STATE ADOPTIONS NEAR CALIFORNIA, BUT BE AWARE THAT WE WILL NOT SHIP. ADOPTER WILL NEED TO PICK UP********** MARCH 2025:   VOLUNTEERS are the only ones allowed to let you meet the kitty. Not PETSMART employees.   Volunteers are usually at PetSmart between 9 am to 1 pm for cleaning ONLY. The cats currently at PETSMART you are allowed to go visit.  A good time to come visit is between 5 pm - 8 pm (Monday thru Saturday) and Sunday 3 pm - 6 pm. The VOLUNTEERS are only there in the evening for 3 hours so please call the PetSmart location, email us or visit the cattery for VISITING HOURS. Most days are different 3 hour shifts. It's based on volunteer availability and store hours. Store hours change with holidays. ******************* If you call the PETSMART location, please ask them to physically check the cattery door for the current week's VISITING HOURS. ****************** The kitties at a foster/rescue homes, we will accommodate as much as possible. But steps 1-6 of the ADOPTION PROCESS need to be done before we do OFFICIAL MEET & GREETS. It is easier to do the meet and greets at the locations listed below. PETSMART  in City of Industry, California off Colima Road in Murrieta, California off Madison Avenue in Hemet, California off Florida Avenue in Palm Desert, California off Monterey Avenue The crazy rescue mama will drive kitties to their new home, meet & greets, etc...once the phone interview and home check have been done. Gas donations always appreciated! ************* Please no calls to the rescue. No one available to take calls. ************* If the CAT/KITTEN is still listed (meaning here or other websites) they are still available. It does not mean they don't have other pending applications or meet and greets. Please note: Just because you fill out an application and are approved does not obligate you to adopt the cat/kitten. If he or she is not a fit...we have plenty of other cats / kittens available for adoption. We are a SMALL rescue based out of Hemet, California. We are all volunteers that run the rescue. If we haven't reached out....be patient. DETECTIVE ELLIOT STABLER is ALREADY fully vetted. The adoption fee of $200 covers: Neuter FVRCP shots RABIES shot FELV/FIV test (Negative/Negative) Drontal Dewormer Stronghold Flea Control Microchip We are NOT a government FUNDED shelter and all our donations and adoption fees are for our rescued cats/kittens.
