YesMeet Zayne (A213854)! Zayne is just eight years young and looking for a loving home at the shelter. Zayn is an absolute sweetheart of a kitty and, although he has a medical issue (see below), he feels purrfectly fine and enjoys all the love you will give him! Zayn loves to be adored and pampered and is looking for a loving home where he will get to live his best life in YOLO style! Please give Zayn a chance to steal your heart. He doesn't know that there's anything wrong, he feels happy and wants to be your teddybear!Zayn came into the shelter missing his nose and top lip. This is likely from a cancer called squamous cell carcinoma; however, additional diagnostics would be needed to confirm this. At this time, he is clinically doing well with breathing and eating. He will need palliative care to keep him comfortable. Please follow up with a full service veterinary hospital for on-going care. Zayne's adoption fee has been sponsored!
Adoption Process
Adopters fill out a 2-page questionnaire, interview with a staff person, and pay the adoption fee. We are in the process of transitioning to "open adoptions" with few formalized requirements. The full adoption fees are approximately $160 for dogs and $110 for cats, but we have regular 'specials'.
