It is a long read and a long adoption process. Please understand we are ensuring that our babies go to great homes and we don't know you personally (yet). Understand that this is an adoption of a beautiful little soul that deserves the absolute best life.  One of our previous fosters found a mama cat and her 4 kittens eating out of the dumpster at her work site in < Hemet, California. Before trapping them, she reached out if we cold help her. We agreed if she would foster. We had the mama cat (LUCY) scheduled to be fixed. The day before she was due to get fixed, she had a second litter. So apparently she was pregnant before she was trapped. So now her 1st set of kittens are ready for adoption. JACE and his 3 siblings (AJANI - SHANDRA - LILI) are now ready for to to their own FUREVER homes! Meet JACE, a charming black and white Tuxedo cat from Hemet, California, whose playful spirit and curious nature make every day a little more fun. With his sleek coat and striking markings, JACE looks as dapper as can be, but underneath that classy exterior is a sweet and gentle boy who’s ready to find a loving home. At first, JACE can be a little shy, taking his time to get comfortable in new surroundings. But once he feels safe, his personality shines! He’s a playful explorer, always on the lookout for new toys to chase and exciting adventures to have. Whether it’s pouncing on a feather wand or batting at a jingling ball, JACE  has a natural curiosity that keeps life entertaining. And when playtime is over? He’s all about treats and head scratches—his absolute favorite ways to bond. JACE shares a special connection with his brother, AJANI. They love to spend time together, playing, napping, and keeping each other company. In his foster home, he was around other kittens and his mom. He has never been around children or dogs. JACE is currently at PETSMART *** 25290 Madison Ave, Murrieta, CA 92562 *** ADOPTION PROCESS: 1. Go to Workinwhiskers.com (Click on ADOPT) 2. Fill Out Online Form 3. Submit Online Application 4. Someone Will Call / Text to Do Phone Interview 5. Will be notified of Approved Application 6. Home Visit (WILL BE SCHEDULED) 7. Official Meet and Greet with Kitty 8. Sign Adoption Contract 9. Pay Adoption Fee (VENMO - ZELLE - PAYPAL or CASH) 10. Take the Kitty Home ********* MAY CONSIDER OUT OF STATE ADOPTIONS NEAR CALIFORNIA, BUT BE AWARE THAT WE WILL NOT SHIP. ADOPTER WILL NEED TO PICK UP********* FEBUARY 2025:   VOLUNTEERS are the only ones allowed to let you meet the kitty. Not PETSMART employees.   Volunteers are usually at PetSmart between 9 am to 1 pm for cleaning. The cats currently at PETSMART you are allowed to go visit.  A good time to come visit is between 5 pm - 8 pm (Monday thru Saturday) and Sunday 4 pm - 7 pm. The VOLUNTEERS are only there in the evening for 3 hours so please call the PetSmart location, email us or visit the cattery for VISITING HOURS. Most days are different 3 hour shifts. It's based on volunteer availability and store hours. Store hours change with holidays. ******************* If you call the PETSMART location, please ask them to physically check the cattery door for the current week's VISITING HOURS. ****************** The kitties at a foster/rescue homes, we will accommodate as much as possible. But steps 1-6 of the ADOPTION PROCESS need to be done before we do OFFICIAL MEET & GREETS. It is easier to do the meet and greets at the locations listed below. PETSMART  in Murrieta, California off Madison Avenue in Hemet, California off Florida Avenue in Palm Desert, California off Monterey Avenue The crazy rescue mama will drive kitties to their new home, meet & greets, etc...once the phone interview and home check have been done.. Gas donations always appreciated! ************* Please no calls to the rescue. No one available to take calls. ************* If the CAT/KITTEN is still listed (meaning here or other websites) they are still available. It does not mean they don't have other pending applications or meet and greets. Please note: Just because you fill out an application and are approved does not obligate you to adopt the cat/kitten. If he or she is not a fit...we have plenty of other cats / kittens available for adoption. We are a SMALL rescue based out of Hemet, California. We are all volunteers that run the rescue. If we haven't reached out....be patient. JACE is ALREADY fully vetted. The adoption fee of $200 covers:  Neuter FVRCP shots RABIES shot FELV/FIV test (Negative/Negative) Drontal Dewormer Stronghold Flea Control Microchip We are NOT a government FUNDED shelter and all our donations and adoption fees are for our rescued cats/kittens.
