Meet Merlin
Merlin is a handsome cat with incredibly soft fur and expressive eyes that will melt your heart. This sweet boy is timid around new people and places, but once he gets comfortable, his affectionate and loving nature shines through. Merlin is the definition of easy going - calm, gentle, and always happy to relax and purr by your side. But don’t let his laid-back vibe fool you; he loves playtime and will happily show off his trills and silly antics. Merlin has a unique tail that adds to his charm. We estimate Merlin is about 2 years old, born in 2023. He would prefer to go to a home with another cat or be adopted with his good friend Arwen . Merlin is a very agreeable cat and would get along with most cat personalities; Merlin is also comfortable with his foster family’s calm dog. Merlin would do best in a calm and quiet home. Kitty Bio #5681JP-Me. If you're interested in adopting this or another of our cats, please fill out our adoption questionnaire at icraeastbay.org/adopt/how-to/.
Adoption Process
Potential adopters pick out a cat or kitten and fill out an application. There will be a short interview with one of our volunteers. Adoptions do not happen same day. We will arrange a time to visit your home and the foster parents and a volunteer will meet there.
Our adoption fee structure is:
Cats and kittens (under 8 years): $100
Cats (over 8 years): $75
Two cats adopted together: Full amount of the higher fee, half the amount of the lower or same fee. For example: a kitten and a cat (under 8) would be $100.00 + 50.00 = $150.00
We require that all cats be kept indoor only. We have an adoption contract.
