Meet Kitten Astro

Hi, I’m Astro.  My brother, Azul, and I have the distinction of being the first kittens to come to SBACC in 2025.  We were 11 weeks old, and we were rescued and brought to SBACC after our Mama had abandoned us.  We need a little time to get used to being at SBACC, and we’re both a little shy but slowly starting to relax and come out of our shells.  Astro and I have been together our whole life and love to play and cuddle together, so it would be great if we could go to our forever home together, but a home with another kitten or young cat would be OK, too.  I probably could even be an only cat if I had a Mom or Dad who was home a lot and had lots of time for me.  I’m with Azul in two of the pics.

Adoption Process
We have an application process and an adoption contract. Fees for dogs are $120, puppies $150, cats over 6 months and under 5 years $75, cats over 5 years $50, kittens $115. We require that adopted dogs be kept indoors at night and when people are home, and all members of the family, including other dogs must meet the dog. For cats, we require that they be indoor only and that the adopter not declaw them.
