Whiskers, Tails and Ferals

We are an all volunteer network that strive to end pet overpopulation through spay and neuter and TNR. We rescue kittens that are otherwise euathanized at the shelter. I feel that you should do things in life that you enjoy and love to do. Finding forever homes for these voiceless creatures brings me so much joy.

About

Meet Havana (NapaGD)

Meet Havana – The Quirkiest Lovebug You’ll Ever Meet!   Oh, Havana. Where do we even begin? This little weirdo is a walking contradiction in the most delightful way. She’s got the softest fur you’ll ever touch, the biggest green-yellow eyes that seem to hold the secrets of the universe (or at least where she last hid her toy), and a personality that is equal parts “mysterious chill on her own” and “clingy cuddle monster.”  She and her brother are part Havana brown, but she is more on the dark black chocolate with a hint of cocoa color. She has the most adorable little white patch on her belly, too! Her littermates beat up on her and so she has a little nervousness from it.   Havana wants to be brave—she really does! But loud noises? Nope. Unexpected movements? Also nope. She may initially be a little shy, but give her a minute (and maybe a soft blanket to burrow in), and she’ll be glued to your side…or better yet, on your chest, purring like a tiny, slightly malfunctioning motor. Bedtime? Non-negotiable—she’s sleeping with you or on you.   Her quirks? Oh, she has many. She’ll go upside down when it's play time, grab your hand with all four paws like a tiny, furry octopus, and play in the most hilariously awkward way possible---she'll bat, bat bat, with her back legs and then stop suddenly and just hold your hand in her paws. And let’s not forget her “leaky eye” situation—Havana has feline herpes (not contagious to humans, don’t worry!), which means sometimes she gets a little eye dribble and the occasional congestion, but it clears up on its own like magic. No extra care needed—just a little extra love (which she will demand anyway).   She’s great with other cats and dogs, totally cool with sharing her space—as long as she still gets her designated snuggle quota.   Now, she’s on the lookout for that special human. Someone who sees her quirks and doesn’t just accept them, but adores them. Someone who wants to give a special kitty a chance, to love her goofy, snuggly, slightly dramatic self for all that she is. If you’ve ever wanted a cat who is equal parts ridiculous and heart-meltingly sweet, Havana is waiting for you.   Adopt Havana, and get ready for the best, oddest, most lovable companion ever. . She'd do best in a quiet home with older, chill kids or no kids.  Foster home has a rambunctious 60 lbs. dog, and she lives side by side with her, but doesn't want to snuggle with her.  She does love chill kitty snuggles.  Adoption fee $200.    Currently in a foster home, you can set up a day to come meet this kitty (on Saturdays  during adoption event hours). Please give us at least a week's notice via wtfnapa@gmail.com or (707) 258-2287 so our volunteers have time to answer messages and get back to you. Thank you!  Cats/kittens come spayed/neutered, microchipped, vaccinated and more with an adoption fee/donation to Whiskers, Tails and Ferals in Napa, CA. See more information at our . -- Cat adoptions inside Napa Petco every Saturday - 1:30pm to 4:00pm
