Meet Stella
Meet Stella! Stella came in with her sisters Minnie A212760 and Misty A212761. Stella was raised with lots of love in a home with three small dogs. Her guardian is experiencing major health issues and sadly had to relinquish all of her pets to the shelter. Stella has been raised as an indoor only kitty. Stella is very loveable and you can pet her for hours. She loves to watch birds out the window and is described as very calm. She is a lapcat and likes to lay with you on the couch or bed. Stella is more outgoing and will approach visitors for pets. She slept in bed with her guardian every night.
Adoption Process
Adopters fill out a 2-page questionnaire, interview with a staff person, and pay the adoption fee. We are in the process of transitioning to "open adoptions" with few formalized requirements. The full adoption fees are approximately $160 for dogs and $110 for cats, but we have regular 'specials'.
