 Hi, my name is Walter and I am a sweet, playful 1.5 year old gentleman looking for a loving home. My foster mom rescued me off the streets so I could have a warm, safe place to be and a better life. At first, I wasn’t so sure about things- it took me a while to warm up and trust people. One day I decided it was OK to accept pets and I haven’t looked back! Now I enjoy lots of pets, lap time, and getting combed. My foster family laughs at my funny antics. Sometimes I’ll stand up on my back feet to reach their hands for pets and I’ve been known to drool a bit when I’m petted. Playing is one of my favorite things to do, especially with my feathered wand toy and favorite mice. I enjoy wet food for breakfast and dinner too.I adore the other cat in my foster home and wish he’d play and snuggle more! I’d probably do best in a home with another cat friend since I really enjoy their company. My foster mom’s not sure how I’d do with dogs or young kids but since I’m on the shy, cautious side, I’d prefer a quieter house with calm dogs and older children.I’m looking for a patient, loving adopter since I’m still a little skittish (especially around strangers) and learning to trust humans. Not too long ago, I was a scared stray but I’ve grown into a gentle, funny, and affectionate guy. I’m looking for someone to love and care for me as much as I can love and care for them.
