4 Paws 4 Life Rescue

4 Paws 4 Life rescue pulls dogs from HIGH KILL shelters and places them in preapproved foster homes until we can find the dog a qualified permanent home. We rehome all breeds and all ages of dogs. Pet overpopulation and shelters who euthanize dogs are the main 2 reasons that we need to help these orphaned pets who can not help themselves.

Meet Murse

Update from Foster: Murse is such a sweet girl who wants nothing but love! She’s very talkative, a professional baker (always making muffins), and a very laid back adult cat. She likes to sleep next to you on the couch but also has spurts of energy when she’s very playful, especially with catnip toys. She does all the cat things - sitting in suitcases & boxes, sunbathing in a spot by the window, and SPRINTS at the sound of meal time!  She nicely coexists with my dogs. I say “coexist” because she doesn’t really seem to care for them either way, but definitely appreciates that my dogs don’t come on too strong and giver her space. She’s had the scarring on her eye since she was a kitten and it doesn’t seem to bother her.Murse was originally adopted as a kitten and was surrendered back to us after her owner passed away.

Adoption Process
Potential adopter fills out adoption application, we screen them and call them with questions, we check with land lords and check references, we do home visit for potential adopter, adopter fills out adoption contract and pays adoption fee/donation fee. We provide all dogs with spay/neuter, DAPP, rabies, microchips.
