Meet Babaganoush
Meet Babaganoush, a handsome long-furred tabby with a heart as big as his personality! Found as a malnourished kitty on the Eastern Plains of Colorado, this brave little guy has blossomed into a 13-pound hunk of love. At around 1.5 years old, Babaganoush is all about living life to the fullest — especially when it comes to playtime! Whether it's batting at ping pong balls, chasing wands, or figuring out puzzle toys, he's always up for some fun. Vocal and full of charm, Babaganoush loves attention and isn’t shy about letting you know when it’s time for cuddles. He's a professional snuggler and loves being near his humans, soaking up all the love he can get. However, Babaganoush prefers to be the only cat in the house, as he doesn’t get along with other kitties. So, if you're looking for a one-of-a-kind companion who's loyal, affectionate, and playful, Babaganoush is your guy! With his striking looks, big personality, and undeniable charm, this sweet boy is ready to claim your heart — just as he claimed his second chance at life. Baba will be best with older kids (12+) who understand and respect Baba's boundaries. Baba gets nippy if he is overstimulated, but he has never bitten us hard or broken any skin. Baba is on a prescription diet and will need to remain on it for the next few months while his GI builds back up the healthy bacteria. With the guidance of a veterinarian, he might be able to successfully be phased into regular food in the future. To ensure each pet finds the best possible home, we ask that you fill out an adoption application form so we can learn more about you and your household. We review each application we receive and will contact you as quickly as possible. A home visit will be scheduled before any pet is adopted to a new home. Once a home visit has taken place and the adoption application has been approved, we will ask you to read and sign our adoption agreement form. Our adoption fees help cover the cost of spay/neuter, veterinary exams, vaccinations, microchipping, and foster care. Highly requested breeds help cover the vet costs incurred by some of our other cats, enabling us to save more lives! $300 for purebred/highly requested kittens, 6 months or younger, such as Siamese mixes, Maine Coon mixes. These "guardian kittens" help support our rescue work by covering vet costs for other kittens. $200 for purebred/highly requested cats older than 6 months such as Siamese mixes, Maine Coone mixes. These "guardian cats" help support our rescue work by covering vet costs for other kittens. $200 for kittens (6 months & under) $125 for cats (older than 6 months) $75 for senior cats (8 years or older) If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an adoption application here .
