Meet Celery – A Soft and Skittish Sweetheart Celery is a delicate gray-and-white tabby with the softest fur you’ve ever touched—if she lets you! This gentle girl is still learning that humans aren’t so scary, and while she may flinch at first, with slow, patient pets, she’ll eventually start purring and even leaning into your hand. But don’t be fooled—she’s still a cautious little lady who prefers to have a cozy, dark hiding spot where she can feel safe and sound.By day, Celery is a quiet observer, keeping to herself in a tucked-away nook. But when night falls, her playful side comes to life! You might hear the soft jingles of her rattle toys as she pounces and chases them in the dark, entertaining herself with adorable enthusiasm.Celery has a refined palate, happily enjoying both crunchy treats and churro treats alike—food is definitely a way to her heart! She’s not a lap cat (yet), but with patience and love, she’s slowly learning that human touch can be comforting.If you’re looking for a soft, sweet girl who needs a gentle, understanding home, Celery could be your perfect match. She may always be a little skittish, but for the right person, she’ll let down her guard—one purr at a time. To ensure each pet finds the best possible home, we ask that you fill out an adoption application form so we can learn more about you and your household. We review each application we receive and will contact you as quickly as possible. A home visit will be scheduled before any pet is adopted to a new home. Once a home visit has taken place and the adoption application has been approved, we will ask you to read and sign our adoption agreement form. Our adoption fees help cover the cost of spay/neuter, veterinary exams, vaccinations, microchipping, and foster care. Highly requested breeds help cover the vet costs incurred by some of our other cats, enabling us to save more lives! $300 for purebred/highly requested kittens, 6 months or younger, such as Siamese mixes, Maine Coon mixes.  These "guardian kittens" help support our rescue work by covering vet costs for other kittens. $200 for purebred/highly requested cats older than 6 months such as Siamese mixes, Maine Coone mixes.  These "guardian cats" help support our rescue work by covering vet costs for other kittens. $200 for kittens (6 months & under)    $125 for cats (older than 6 months)    $75 for senior cats (8 years or older) If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an adoption application  here . We want our pets to go to a lifelong new home, so thank you for your patience during the adoption process!
