Meet Shadow Surprise

Sweet Shadow Surprise was an outside kitty but wanted so bad to belong with someone that a woman who was feeding her was able to catch her and get her to us. She was spayed and vaccinated and put into a foster home where she earned her moniker of Shadow, as that was all that was seen of her for weeks. Then she started making overtures to her foster mom--fleeting, but sweet gestures. She was a bit hard to catch to take to vet for her follow-up vaccination, but by that evening was laying down watching TV with her foster mom. We think she will do best in a quiet home with few or no other animals, although she is ok with friendly quiet dogs. It will take her a little time to adjust, but she is a sweet girl who wants to be loved--just a bit of a scaredy cat. She is missing part of her tail, which may be part of the answer to why she is so skittish. Never attempts to scratch or bite, but she will hide!
