Meet Brooklyn
Brooklyn came from an overcrowded house in which rescuers took a total of 19 cats and kittens out of the home. Brooklyn is SUPER social, extremely loving and always happy. She does seem to bond stronger with women rather than men. She will be your shadow kitty, following you everywhere and walking you to bed for extra cuddles. Brooklyn can be chatty at times, but usually it's for attention or wet food. She would love to be on your lap most of the time and will hound you for attention. She enjoys rubbing her face on your cheek. Since being in a house with a large number of cats, she is extremely cat friendly. When another kitty is cranky, Brooklyn doesn't care, she just finds someone else to play with. She hasn't been introduced to dogs, but her foster mom believes she wouldn't have a problem. Brooklyn was born around August 14, 2024, and is currently being fostered in Naugatuck. She is fixed, up-to-date on shots, microchipped, and tested negative for FIV/FeLV. All of our cats and kittens are cared for in loving foster homes. "Meet and Greets" can be arranged only after an application has been submitted and approved. Applications for adoption can be found at our website at www.fosterandforever.org. Our volunteers do their best to respond within 24-48 hours.
Adoption Process
Visit our website to fill out an application either on-line or download a form (fill it out and email it back to us). This will start the adoption process.
All applicants must provide references including a vet (please give them permission to speak to us). Note that we do not place our pets in homes with children under 5, this protects the children and our pets.
Once references are checked a home visit will be scheduled and then a meet and greet with the pet.
