Meet Ivy!! This gorgeous dilute torti is shy but gentle and sweet. Ivy loves to play with all kinds of toys especially ones that go around and around. She is a great eater though you wouldn't know it by her frame which is very slight and svelt. Ivy is the first to come snuggle with her foster mom at bedtime. She takes a bit to warm up but is not opposed to being pet or held if you don't approach her head on. She can also be bribed easily with treats Ivy LOVES other cats!!! She loves to play with her siblings and she loves the resident cats at her foster home. When the resident cats come around she comes completely out of her shell and follows them around and does whatever they do. Ivy would do well in a home with another cat-friendly cat that is lonely for company. Though she is learning on her own every day, she will need a little time and a good role model to show her how great people are. Ivy was born around August 9, 2024, and is currently being fostered in Middlefield with her siblings Harry, Tommy and Argenta. She is fixed, has had her rabies and first distemper shots, is microchipped, and tested negative for FIV/FeLV. All of our cats and kittens are cared for in loving foster homes. "Meet and Greets" can be arranged only after an application has been submitted and approved. Applications for adoption can be found at our website at www.fosterandforever.org. Our volunteers do their best to respond within 24-48 hours.
Adoption Process
Visit our website to fill out an application either on-line or download a form (fill it out and email it back to us). This will start the adoption process.
All applicants must provide references including a vet (please give them permission to speak to us). Note that we do not place our pets in homes with children under 5, this protects the children and our pets.
Once references are checked a home visit will be scheduled and then a meet and greet with the pet.
