Meet Tommy!! Tommy is a very sweet and docile but super shy little guy. He will come out of his shell if you are patient enough and he will reward your patience with a super loud purr, a little tail and butt waggy walk, and lots of rubs and affection. If food is involved you will see this super sweet side of Tommy almost immediately. Once out of his shell he is playful and engaging, will let you pick him up and hold him and may even climb on your lap for a spell. Tommy's lush thick black coat is so enjoyable to pet and is another reward for waiting for him to be ready to interact with you. He just takes a little bit more time than his siblings to feel safe and comfortable, let his guard down and gain some confidence. With time and a permanent home he should flourish into a magnificent specimen who will be loving and perhaps one or two person's best friend. Tommy would do well in a quiet home with another cat or one of his siblings. He would do well with a consistent routine that he could rely on and that will help him gain confidence and feel safe. It may be a little work to adjust him to you and your home but he will be worth it. What a sweety! Tommy was born around August 9, 2024, and is currently being fostered in Middlefield with his siblings Argenta, Harry and Ivy. He is fixed, has had his rabies and first distemper shots, is microchipped, and tested negative for FIV/FeLV. All of our cats and kittens are cared for in loving foster homes. "Meet and Greets" can be arranged only after an application has been submitted and approved. Applications for adoption can be found at our website at www.fosterandforever.org. Our volunteers do their best to respond within 24-48 hours.
Adoption Process
Visit our website to fill out an application either on-line or download a form (fill it out and email it back to us). This will start the adoption process.
All applicants must provide references including a vet (please give them permission to speak to us). Note that we do not place our pets in homes with children under 5, this protects the children and our pets.
Once references are checked a home visit will be scheduled and then a meet and greet with the pet.
