Meet Goldie

Goldie is a stunning orange tabby. She was in an overcrowded house along with her brother, Christopher, and her daughter, Stacey. Goldie has had four litter in the past and was an amazing mom, but it's her time to have some peace and quiet. She is a very sweet and docile girl. Unfortunately, some of the resident cats at her foster home have not been very welcoming. With that being said, a quiet house with another calm cat or her brother, Christopher, would be ideal. She tolerates her daughter, Stacey, but only for a short time. Goldie loves wet food (pate style) which is why her foster mom calls her Potato; she's a little round. She likes attention but will play hard to get, then puts her paw out for some love. Goldie is making progress being comfortable being held; she just tends to get squirmy. A quiet house would be best for Goldie. Goldie was born around March 24, 2022. She is currently being fostered in Waterbury. He is fixed, is up-to-date on shots, is microchipped and tested neg for FIV/FeLV*. All of our cats and kittens are cared for in loving foster homes. "Meet and greets" can be arranged only after an application has been submitted and approved.  Applications for adoption can be found at https://www.fosterandforever.org/  Our volunteers do their best to respond within 24 - 48 hrs.

Adoption Process
Visit our website to fill out an application either on-line or download a form (fill it out and email it back to us). This will start the adoption process. All applicants must provide references including a vet (please give them permission to speak to us). Note that we do not place our pets in homes with children under 5, this protects the children and our pets. Once references are checked a home visit will be scheduled and then a meet and greet with the pet.
