Meet Winter

Winter was found in downtown Waterbury after her owner left her out in the cold. She is a lovely little girl who is deaf, but has a big personality! She has heterochromatic eyes, meaning each eye is a different color. She is an affectionate little lady who doesn't mind other cats, but prefers to not live with other dogs. Winter is happy sitting on a windowsill or curling up with her person on the couch or bed. Please consider sharing your home and love with this petite lady -- you won't regret it! Winter was born around January 6, 2022, and is currently being fostered in Naugatuck.  She is fixed, has had her rabies and first distemper shots, is microchipped and tested neg for FIV/FeLV*  All of our cats and kittens are cared for in loving foster homes. "Meet and greets" can be arranged only after an application has been submitted and approved.    Application for adoption can be found at  https://www.fosterandforever.org/   Our volunteers do their best to respond within 24 - 48 hrs.

Adoption Process
Visit our website to fill out an application either on-line or download a form (fill it out and email it back to us). This will start the adoption process. All applicants must provide references including a vet (please give them permission to speak to us). Note that we do not place our pets in homes with children under 5, this protects the children and our pets. Once references are checked a home visit will be scheduled and then a meet and greet with the pet.
