Philadelphia Animal Welfare Society

PAWS is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to saving Philadelphia’s homeless, abandoned, and unwanted animals. PAWS is Philadelphia's largest no-kill shelter and is working to make Philadelphia a city in which every healthy and treatable pet is guaranteed a home. Through its adoption locations, special events, and foster care network, PAWS finds loving homes for thousands of animals each year.In March 2010, PAWS opened a low-cost, high-volume spay/neuter and wellness clinic serving pet owners and rescues in an effort to keep pets healthy and reduce the homeless pet population. Located in the Grays Ferry section of the city, the Clinic serves pet owners who have difficulty affording or do not have access to basic veterinary care (sterilization, vaccinations, treatments for upper respiratory infections/parasites/fleas, etc.) and rescue organizations that need affordable spay/neuter surgery and basic veterinary care to carry out their lifesaving work. Support for PAWS funds lifesaving initiatives including adoption and foster care programs, spay/neuter surgeries, low-cost vaccinations, and other efforts, all of which help reduce and will ultimately eliminate the unnecessary killing of Philadelphia's animals. Donations to PAWS are tax-deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law.

Meet Petal & Gray (BONDED PAIR)

Brother and sister are the whole package! Meet Petal (fka Green) and her brother Gray (fka Blue). Petal is the runt of her liter- she is very tiny and sweet but has always been a fighter - healthy and thriving! She is a unique female Tom Cat (orange) with the most amazing symmetrical rings/markings on both sides with stripes running down her back. Petal is cuddly and calm. She loves pets! She is also very curious and not afraid of anything - even our 60lb dog. Petal and Gray are amazing together - they are the perfect pair. Gray is a bit more outgoing and silly, Petal a bit more quiet and cautious. Together - they wear each other out and snuggle when they are tired. Please consider bring these two amazing babies into your home!Gray is anything but ordinary - this fun loving baby is so pretty and silly. He loves to follow you around and explore where ever you go. Gray is full of energy and loves playing with his sister Petal. Together they are the perfect balance of calm and storm. It doesn't take much to wear Gray out and then he is your cuddle buddy. He falls asleep almost anywhere he can lay his head when he's ready for a nap. Petal is the perfect balance for Gray - she wears him out and finds him very entertaining! Gray will try things first and Petal will quickly follow suit. This duo has been around 4 dogs and other cats as well as children. They would do well in any environment that can love and cuddle them! Age: 2months How I came to PAWS: Animal ID#:A56381 & A56379 I am not at the shelter. Please email my foster parent at [email protected] to learn more about me!
