Ayla's Acres No-Kill Animal Rescue

We are tackling the problem one animal at a time. Ayla’s Acres No-Kill Animal Rescue is a St. Augustine, Florida-based 501(c)(3) supporting adoption, spay and neuter, and responsible care of animals. Along with education, outreach, and adoption and fostering programs, Ayla’s Acres also maintains a 45-acre sanctuary where “unadoptable” animals may live out their lives with peace, love, and dignity.

Meet Eastwood

Eastwood is a cute little black "Hemmingway" cat with extra toes on his front feet.  He is missing part of his ear because a mean old rooster attacked him and pecked part of it off although he's completely healed up now.  He is very bonded with his brothers and we're really trying to adopt him with one of them as he is very shy to begin with.  All Ayla's cats must be indoor only and declawing is not allowed.   A home visit is required and there is a small adoption fee.  If you are interested in adopting this sweet boy, please go to Aylasacres.org and submit an adoption application.

Adoption Process
1. Adoption application - requesting background as pet parent, 3 non-family member references and vet reference. 2. If app is approved - Phone interview to understand what type of pet the applicant is looking for. 3. Meet and greet - We facilitate a meet at the applicant's home. 4. If meet goes well - The applicant signs and Adoption Agreement.
