Meet Pizzazz

Hi my name is Pizzazz, Whew!  It's been quite the journey for me.  I was removed from a house that had too many cats and as a kitten I was completely ignored and not socialized. After medical I went to a foster home where I spent 10 days under a futon, I was stubborn.  I couldn't be tempted by food, treats, toys, stuffed animals and certainly not touching.  Finally,  I started to feel safe and came out to play with a toy being waived around.  From there, I learned it feels good to be petted and I actually ask for it each morning and evening.  I want to play with the adult cat in the house but she wants nothing to do with me, so my next step is to head back to shelter so I can play with other kitties my own age and continue my journey.   I am a gorgeous red mackerel tabby (unusual for a girl) and with a little patience will make a wonderful companion.  To schedule a meet/greet with this pawsome kitty, we recommend that you complete a Pre-Adoption Application which is available here:   https://www.shelteringhands.org/adoptionapplication.  For additional information, email our Adoptions Team at [email protected].  Once applications are approved the Adoptions Team will coordinate the best way for you to get your new furry family member and bring them home. Adoption Process
Pre-adoption form with consent to run background check on all individuals over 18 in household. Includes vet check for animals in household to be spay/neutered and up to date on vaccinations. Agree to no declaw and indoor cat. Background check usually takes 24-48 hours. Home visit and delivery of cat. Adoption contract. Cats $40 and Kittens $50 includes Spay/Neuter, microchip, vaccinations including rabies.
