ShortMartin was posted on FB a few months ago living behind a shopping center in terrible condition, with mange. Kitty Chicks stepped in and rescued him when he needed someone the most. His new adopter had to move abruptly, so he was ripped away from the person he started trusting. Martin is very sweet but is still shy until he gets to know you. He will not do well at one of our stores so if you would like to make an appointment to meet him, please let us know. He is approximately 1 year old and is great with other cats. He is fully recovered and looking for his forever home. Right now he is living in a bathroom as we are out of space.
Adoption Process
Pick a cat, fill out an application, we call references and ask questions to the potential adopters. Once approved we have them fill out a contract agreement with the understanding at anytime they wish not to have the cat it is to be returned to the rescue. We have adopted out 60 plus cats since Oct 2021 and none have been returned.
