Meet HERA

Poor sweet Hera was returned to the shelter by an adopter that didn't realize she was allergic to cats. Sadly, she now sits here in a kennel, not understanding why she is back. Hera is super friendly and outgoing and wants to be with people. She knows her name and will run to you when you say it. Hera just loves being petted and will give you lots of head butts asking for affection. She has a good level of energy and enjoys playing independently with toys. In fact, she kicks balls and plush toys around like they are footballs! In quiet times, Hera loves watching the world from a window ledge. This social kitty has so much love to give and deserves a true forever home. Will it be yours? To meet Hera, or any pet visit www.humanebroward.com to complete the pre-adoption application and then stop by the Humane Society of Broward County located at 2070 Griffin Road, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33312. The adoption kennels open daily at 11 a.m. and appointments are not required. If you have any questions, please call 954-989-3977 ext. 6. The vaccine clinic is open 6 days a week.
