About
Meet Charlotte
QUEEN CHARLOTTE THEMED MOMMA: Approx. 5 years old / Approx. 11 lbs. Hi, my name is Charlotte – momma to the Queen Charlotte themed kittens! I originally came to Mostly Mutts while nursing six kittens. They all found homes and I was also adopted. Unfortunately, allergies in my home meant I needed to return to Mostly Mutts. That makes me sad, but I am happy to be with the Mostly Mutts family where I am getting lots of love while I wait for my new family to find me. • OTHER CATS/DOGS/KIDS: I may enjoy another kitty in my home, so if you have a nice kitty at home already, let’s meet. / I’ve not met dogs, but if you have a kitty-friendly (or kitty-tolerant dog) at home, we may be able to be pals with a proper introduction. / My previous owner reported that I liked kids, but I don’t remember their ages. Children in my new home may be nice, but best they are gentle and know how to handle a kitty, and – of course, let’s meet! • PERSONALITY INFORMATION: My previous owner described me as a well-mannered kitty, and the volunteers say I am quite independent and reserved, as well. My former foster said I am pretty quiet unless I want her attention, and then I will vie for it – and I am talkative at the shelter, too, when I want attention. I am playful when the mood strikes and have a cuddly side, too. I have a heart-shaped mark on the base of my tail that my former foster mom said represents my sweetheart personality perfectly. Sweet and loving, I am going to be a joy to my new family! • SKILLS/LITTER TRAINED STATUS: I keep my area clean, as I am litter trained. • LIKES/DISLIKES: I still have a bit of a kitten spirit in me, as I enjoy playing and like the smaller plush toys that I can bat around and run with in my mouth. My favorite shelter toy is the wand with the mouse attached to the end. I’m bound to catch it one day! An affectionate girl, I am always happy to hop into my foster’s lap for a cuddle or chill on my bed. / I can’t think of any dislikes, but I would not be happy if I did not get the love and attention all kitties deserve! • MEDICAL: I'm current on vaccinations, micro-chipped, combo tested negative and spayed. I am looking for a great family to give me a loving home! My adoption fee is $175.00, and I’m located in Kennesaw, Ga.
Adoption Process
Mostly Mutts Animal Rescue & Adoption's Adoption Process
Our facility is currently open to the public Monday-Saturday, 11-3. We welcome you to come meet our adoptable Mutts & Kitties! Please keep in mind the following:
Many of our adoptable Mutts & Kitties are in foster homes, so please call 770-272-6888 to find out if the pet you are interested in is at our facility. With an approved application we can set up meet & greets and adoptions with a pet in foster care.
We are not yet up to full ‘staffing’ following the pandemic, so there may be times when we cannot do meet & greets or process an application on the spot.
The best first step is to submit an application via www.mostlymutts.org.
Our adoption counselors are happy to help make a great match for you and your family!
Adoption Info:
Adoptions are being scheduled for approved applicants, by appointment only.
Please submit an application through our website at www.mostlymutts.org if you are interested in one of our adoptable pets. We are receiving a large volume of applications and processing may take a little bit longer than normal. We are grateful for your interest, and an adoption counselor will be in touch as quickly as possible. Please give us 48 hours to respond before sending a follow-up email.
Don’t see a dog or cat for you on the website? Submit the application anyway!! We are taking in a large number of dogs and cats weekly. Due to the overwhelming demand, many are matched with approved applicants prior to being posted online. Our adoption counselors will be happy to help make a great match for you and your family.
