About
Meet Hermie
A SWEET, ACTIVE KITTEN: Approx. 2.5 months old / Approx. 2 lbs. & growing Hi, my name is Hermie – a handsome boy who found myself at animal control. Fortunately, Mostly Mutts came for me, and I have been growing and thriving in a great foster home. Now, it is time for me to find my own family to love and be loved by! Plan to meet me soon! • OTHER CATS/DOGS/KIDS: I briefly met the adult cat that lives in my foster home. He was not interested in being friends, but – I may enjoy another kitty in my home, so if you have a nice kitty at home already, let’s meet! / I get along well with the dog in my foster home. It likely will depend on the dog, but if you have kitty-friendly doggie at home, let’s meet and see if we can be pals. / Children in my new home may be nice, since I am a playful kitten, but best they are gentle and know how to handle a kitten, and – of course, let’s meet! • PERSONALITY INFORMATION: My foster describes me as a ‘very friendly and interactive kitten’. I’m curious and playful with a fun, independent streak. I’ll sit in your lap, but – if I still have my bundle of energy – I will take that as an invitation to play, then YOU become my favorite toy – lol. Affectionate and social, I am ready to be your new furry family member! • SKILLS/LITTER TRAINED STATUS: I keep my area clean, as I am litter trained. • LIKES/DISLIKES: I love to play with toys and scramble around in the cat tunnel. My favorite toy is the little fishing line with the dangling bird that I love to chase. I DO like to be held and will calmly let you hold me … unless I'm determined to play - lol. / I can’t think of any dislikes since I am a kitten, but I would not be happy if I did not get the love and attention all kitties deserve! • MEDICAL: I’ve started my kitten shots, but you must finish those for me as I grow. I am microchipped. I'm not yet neutered due to my small size, but it is required and will be done as soon as I grow a little more. Mostly Mutts will cover that cost with one of their approved vets in the North Metro Atlanta area, so local adoptions only. I am on a special gastrointestinal food – Royal Canin i/d - to keep my tummy healthy. I am looking for a wonderful home with a great family! My adoption fee is $175.00, and I’m located in Kennesaw, Ga.
Adoption Process
Mostly Mutts Animal Rescue & Adoption's Adoption Process
Our facility is currently open to the public Monday-Saturday, 11-3. We welcome you to come meet our adoptable Mutts & Kitties! Please keep in mind the following:
Many of our adoptable Mutts & Kitties are in foster homes, so please call 770-272-6888 to find out if the pet you are interested in is at our facility. With an approved application we can set up meet & greets and adoptions with a pet in foster care.
We are not yet up to full ‘staffing’ following the pandemic, so there may be times when we cannot do meet & greets or process an application on the spot.
The best first step is to submit an application via www.mostlymutts.org.
Our adoption counselors are happy to help make a great match for you and your family!
Adoption Info:
Adoptions are being scheduled for approved applicants, by appointment only.
Please submit an application through our website at www.mostlymutts.org if you are interested in one of our adoptable pets. We are receiving a large volume of applications and processing may take a little bit longer than normal. We are grateful for your interest, and an adoption counselor will be in touch as quickly as possible. Please give us 48 hours to respond before sending a follow-up email.
Don’t see a dog or cat for you on the website? Submit the application anyway!! We are taking in a large number of dogs and cats weekly.
