Meet Shell
SALT LIFE THEMED MOMMA: Approx. 1 year old / Approx. 8 lbs. Hello, I’m Shell – momma to the Salt Life themed kittens! I came to Mostly Mutts VERY pregnant and had my babies shortly after arrival. Thankfully, I had a wonderful foster home where I could raise them, and now I can put my mothering days behind me for good. My babies are now either adopted or available for adoption, and the time has come for me to find my furever family, as well. I hope to meet them soon! • OTHER CATS/DOGS/KIDS: I’ve not met other kitties while in my current foster home, but I was a great Momma to my kittens ! I may enjoy another kitty in my home, so if you have a nice kitty at home already, let’s meet! / I’ve been quite aggressive towards the dog in my foster home, so I may not be happy living with a dog, unless they are kitty-friendly and give me my space. Time and careful introductions would be needed. / Children in my new home may be nice, but best they are gentle and know how to handle a kitty, and – of course, let’s meet! • PERSONALITY INFORMATION: My foster describes me as ‘the sweetest kitty’ – and I bet you will agree! I’m super affectionate and will be vocal to get your attention with the cutest little chirps. It didn’t take me long to get cuddly with my foster mom shortly after we met, so I qualify as a lap kitty. • SKILLS/LITTER TRAINED STATUS: I keep my area clean, as I am litter trained. • LIKES/DISLIKES: I very much enjoy being near my people, and you could say my favorite activity is getting attention. I enjoy that more than any kitty toys! Make a spot for me within snuggle distance, and I will be a happy girl! / Except for not being a big fan of dogs, I can’t think of any dislikes, but I would not be happy if I did not get the love and attention all kitties deserve! • MEDICAL: I'm current on my annual vaccinations, micro-chipped, combo tested negative and spayed. I am looking for a great family to give me a loving home! My adoption fee is $175.00, and I’m located in Kennesaw, Ga.
Adoption Process
Mostly Mutts Animal Rescue & Adoption's Adoption Process
Our facility is currently open to the public Monday-Saturday, 11-3. We welcome you to come meet our adoptable Mutts & Kitties! Please keep in mind the following:
Many of our adoptable Mutts & Kitties are in foster homes, so please call 770-272-6888 to find out if the pet you are interested in is at our facility. With an approved application we can set up meet & greets and adoptions with a pet in foster care.
We are not yet up to full ‘staffing’ following the pandemic, so there may be times when we cannot do meet & greets or process an application on the spot.
The best first step is to submit an application via www.mostlymutts.org.
Our adoption counselors are happy to help make a great match for you and your family!
Adoption Info:
Adoptions are being scheduled for approved applicants, by appointment only.
Please submit an application through our website at www.mostlymutts.org if you are interested in one of our adoptable pets. We are receiving a large volume of applications and processing may take a little bit longer than normal. We are grateful for your interest, and an adoption counselor will be in touch as quickly as possible. Please give us 48 hours to respond before sending a follow-up email.
Don’t see a dog or cat for you on the website? Submit the application anyway!! We are taking in a large number of dogs and cats weekly. Due to the overwhelming demand, many are matched with approved applicants prior to being posted online. Our adoption counselors will be happy to help make a great match for you and your family.
