Gertie is a lovely approximately 5yr old spayed female. Gertie is a special needs kitty because she has skin allergies. She is currently on an every other day medication (easy to give, not expensive) and a limited ingredient diet (she can’t have poultry, for example). Gertie is sweet and playful. She likes looking out the window and loves napping on a pillow. She was part of a feral colony, but was an outsider in the colony. She asked for help and we answered. She has enjoyed becoming a house pet and is curious about other cats. We believe with a slow introduction she would be ok with other cats. It is kitten season and it’s hard to find home for adults, much less one with special needs. Please spread the word about Gertie! She will be a great companion for some lucky person.
