About
Meet Arthur
JOKER THEMED KITTEN: Approx. 2.5 months old / Approx. 2 lbs. & growing Hi, my name is Arthur! My siblings and I came to Mostly Mutts from animal control. Thanks to the dedicated kitten fosters, we were able to go to a great foster home right away. I recently moved to the Kitty Aquarium where I continue to grow and thrive. I am now ready to find a home of my very own. Plan to meet me soon! • OTHER CATS/DOGS/KIDS: I got along very well with my siblings before they were adopted, and – after an initial hiss – there have been no issues with the kitties that lived in my foster home! I tended to minimize myself or hide if I am not in the mood to interact with them. I may enjoy another kitty in my home. / Likewise, initial hissing at the dog in my foster home disappeared, and I accepted them – again, hiding if I needed space. If you have a kitty-friendly dog, we will likely do well together. / Children in my new home may be nice, since I am a playful kitten, but best they are gentle and know how to handle a kitten, and – of course, let’s meet! • PERSONALITY INFORMATION: I am a super playful kitten with a fun nature. My former foster said I was always in the middle of the play area – conquering all the toys with gusto. I’m affectionate, but I don’t usually seek it out. I was a well-mannered house guest who was friendly with the visitors I met in my former foster home and am enjoying attention from the shelter volunteers. I’m sure to bring a smile to my new family’s faces! • SKILLS/LITTER TRAINED STATUS: I keep my area clean, as I am litter trained. • LIKES/DISLIKES: I enjoy attention from people, and I am fine with being picked up and held. I will give ‘kitten kisses’ in appreciation. At playtime, I love string toys and balls, so have those handy, please. / I can’t think of any dislikes since I am a kitten, but I would not be happy if I did not get the love and attention all kitties deserve! • MEDICAL: I’m up to date on my kitten shots, microchipped and neutered. I am looking for a loving furever home with a great family! My adoption fee is $175.00, and I’m located in Kennesaw, Ga.
Adoption Process
Mostly Mutts Animal Rescue & Adoption's Adoption Process
Our facility is currently open to the public Monday-Saturday, 11-3. We welcome you to come meet our adoptable Mutts & Kitties! Please keep in mind the following:
Many of our adoptable Mutts & Kitties are in foster homes, so please call 770-272-6888 to find out if the pet you are interested in is at our facility. With an approved application we can set up meet & greets and adoptions with a pet in foster care.
We are not yet up to full ‘staffing’ following the pandemic, so there may be times when we cannot do meet & greets or process an application on the spot.
The best first step is to submit an application via www.mostlymutts.org.
Our adoption counselors are happy to help make a great match for you and your family!
Adoption Info:
Adoptions are being scheduled for approved applicants, by appointment only.
Please submit an application through our website at www.mostlymutts.org if you are interested in one of our adoptable pets. We are grateful for your interest, and an adoption counselor will be in touch as quickly as possible. Please give us 48 hours to respond before sending a follow-up email.
Don’t see a dog or cat for you on the website? Submit the application anyway!! We are taking in a large number of dogs and cats weekly.
