Murray County Humane Society

We are a small group of volunteers who try to help rehome surrendered animals & also pull & rehome from our local high kill animal control. We have a foster facility along with a few foster homes that house the animals until they are adopted (or live out their lives if not adopted). Our group is very dedicated to helping all that we can with what resources we have. We do not turn any away if we have space. We feel they all deserve a chance at life in a good loving home.

Meet Treadwell ! He is the sweetest boy ever !!! He is visionally impaired. But he doesn't let that stop him. All he wants is love. He has been at the shelter over a year now. He's around 5-6 years old. He was found in a field by himself. Please consider Treadwell you won't regret it! Treadwell is such a amazing boy he has a sponsor for all adoption fees!      

Adoption Process
adoption application, home inspection, adoption fee ($250 for puppies which includes age appropriate vaccinations & spay/neuter, $175 for adult dogs which includes age appropriate vaccinations, spay/neuter, & heartworm testing, $75 for cats or kittens which includes age appropriate vaccinations & spay/neuter)
