Meet Bandit
Date of Birth: 8/20/24Adoption Fee: $150.00Date Posted: 12/3/24Hi! My name is BANDIT. My foster mom calls me that because I will STEAL just about anything...your PILLOW, your LAP, your HEART...and anything else I can get my little paws on! Speaking of paws, I make the most wonderful biscuits with my precious little toes. I express my joy with the loudest, most soothing purr motor you will ever hear. It is pretty amazing that so much sweet sound can come out of a little tiny body! I am thrilled to play with any toy. I run and zoom all around. I am one of the best climbers you will ever see. The world is a wonderful place full of adventure...I cannot wait to explore every corner! I am a joy to be discovered and cannot wait to be loved forever by some very special humans. Please remember that I am a little baby who has always known the joy of a feline friend to entertain and cuddle with me while my humans are busy. I have two sisters named Fluffy and Pepper. I will need to be adopted with one of my litter mates or you will need to have a young companion waiting for me at home. I would really love to be with my forever family for my very first Christmas so I hope to meet you soon!
Adoption Process
Potential adopters are required to complete a detailed online application. Application screeners are trained to follow specific procedures when reviewing submitted applications. Adoption agreements are completed following approval of the application. Volunteers follow up with adopters to ensure that both people and pets are adjusting well as a family.
Currently, adoption fees are $35 as Pippi's Place is partnering with Barrow County Animal Control to foster animals and facilitate adoptions. Pippi's Place will continue to partner with animal control facilities to support their TNR work through adoptions but will also eventually begin intake of its own rescues. At that point in time, adoption fees will increase to $100 for adults and $125 for kittens to help to cover expenses when the cost of spay/neuter, medication, etc. is no longer subsidized through the partnership with the animal control facility.
