Meet George & Jayne

A feral cat delivered a litter of five kittens in late July last year. In early September we trapped them one at a time, and took them inside to protect them from the many predators (and traffic) in our neighborhood. The first three are now living in our home, but George and Jayne, trapped in mid-October, have been kept in a relative's basement. Since they were caught last, they haven't had as much human contact as their siblings did, and aren't yet as socialized. They come up onto our laps for treats and we can pet them then, but still aren't comfortable being picked up. They scoot away but don't scratch or bite unless cornered. They have all of their shots, and both are fixed. Due to financial concerns, no space in our home, and family allergies, we can't keep these adorable 6-month olds.
