Meet Blizzard

Meet Blizzard, the little survivor turned cuddle bug! She started her life as an alley cat but was fortunate enough to find her way into the care of some kind fosters. Initially hesitant to trust humans, Blizzard has now blossomed into a sweet little companion who adores snuggling on your lap or sleeping on your legs.Blizzard's favorite pastime is playing with her sister, Snowflake, engaging in playful wrestling matches and chasing balls or springs around the house. She is full of energy and enjoys keeping herself entertained. If she had a superpower, Blizzard would use it to provide all street cats with warm and loving homes. She is a tough cookie, showing her resilience with occasional hisses, but she is harmless and has a heart of gold underneath it all.In her foster home, Blizzard has been exposed to other cats and kittens, showing some toughness with her hisses but ultimately getting along well. Therefore, she must be adopted into a home with another young cat. She has met dogs briefly and while they weren't her favorite, with proper introduction and time, she could learn to enjoy their company. Blizzard is friendly with all people and would thrive in any household.Blizzard would do best with older children or adults and would love to have her sister, Snowflake, as a companion. Adoption Process
Thank you for your interest in Forever Fortunate Felines, a division of Fortunate Pooches and Lab Rescue.  We are very happy to have the opportunity to match you with your purr-fect cat-panion! Once you complete the online application using the below link, you will be able to discuss and ask questions directly to the foster parent.  We believe this is a big advantage to you as our organization is completely foster based, we really understand our cats personalities at a deep level.  This helps to ensure a great match with you and your family. In order to get the process going, would you kindly fill out our detailed online application located here:  https://www.petstablished.com/adoption_form/11683/generic Completing our online application does not commit you to adopt from our rescue.  Rather it helps us to understand your requirements and match you with the best possible cat or kitten. Once you complete the application and it is approved, we can set up a meet and greet and if all works out, you may bring the kittens or cats home the same day.  Please make sure to bring an adequately sized pet carrier with you to your meet and greet.  We recommend a pet carrier which opens from the top as this is the easiest way to place a cat inside a carrier.  If you do decide to adopt, we do expect you to take home your cat the same day as there are so many cats and kittens which need to be rescued from high kill shelters, we almost always rescue a new cat or kitten the very next day.  If it is not possible for you to take your cat or kitten home the same day, we do charge a boarding fee of $3 per day for supplies and to encourage you to take your newly adopted cat home.  We will board for a maximum of 3 days if needed to allow you time to get needed supplies. Our adoption fees are listed at the link below. This fee includes full vetting, flea treatment, de-worming, spay surgery, FeLV and FIV test, microchip insertion, and vaccinations up to date for the kittens or cats age.  We are able to accept cash, check, paypal, or most major credit cards for the adoption fee.
