Meet Rosie

Meet our sweet Rosie!  Rosie would love nothing more than a calm home to rest her gorgeous self!  She loves lounging in a cat tree in the sun.  She has the calmest, sweetest demeanor.  Rosie will play with toys like wand toys, but intense playtime is not a must for this lady.  She loves nothing more than getting pets from her people!  She is super expressive with her desires too.  Any time she wants pets, she will rub up against her foster!  Such a little lover!  Rosie came to Forever Fortunate Felines from Joliet Animal Care.  She was in pretty bad shape, super skinny and lethargic so was given a deadline where she had to be rescued or she would be euthanized.  It turned out she had a life-threatening uterine infection that can affect unspayed female cats.  She had an emergency spay.  With some TLC from her amazing foster team, she has thrived!  Rosie’s ideal home might be with respectful other cats, or as a solo cat if she got enough attention from her human family.  She is temperamental with some cats and gets along with others so if going to a home with other pets, she will need a slow introduction.  She will need a quiet home and probably would not be suited to live with small children. Rosie is fairly independent, but does enjoy affection!  Rosie loves pets and is an occasional cuddler/lap cat when she's in the mood.  She has the sweetest meow that you will ever hear!  If Rosie had a job, it would probably involve spreading relaxation and love wherever she goes.  If you're looking for a sweet and calm companion who will melt your heart with her meows and affection, Rosie might just be the perfect match for you! WE DO NOT HAVE A PHYSICAL LOCATION AS WE ARE A FOSTER-BASED ORGANIZATION.  PLEASE SUBMIT AN APPLICATION TO BE IMMEDIATELY CONNECTED TO A SCREENER.Apply at online application (catsfff.org/adopt)View all of our adoptable cats here (catsfff.org/cats)Our adoption fees are listed here (catsfff.org/adoption-fees)

Adoption Process
Thank you for your interest in Forever Fortunate Felines, a division of Fortunate Pooches and Lab Rescue.  We are very happy to have the opportunity to match you with your purr-fect cat-panion! Once you complete the online application using the below link, you will be able to discuss and ask questions directly to the foster parent.  We believe this is a big advantage to you as our organization is completely foster based, we really understand our cats personalities at a deep level.  This helps to ensure a great match with you and your family. In order to get the process going, would you kindly fill out our detailed online application located here:  https://www.petstablished.com/adoption_form/11683/generic Completing our online application does not commit you to adopt from our rescue.  Rather it helps us to understand your requirements and match you with the best possible cat or kitten. Once you complete the application and it is approved, we can set up a meet and greet and if all works out, you may bring the kittens or cats home the same day.  Please make sure to bring an adequately sized pet carrier with you to your meet and greet.  We recommend a pet carrier which opens from the top as this is the easiest way to place a cat inside a carrier.  If you do decide to adopt, we do expect you to take home your cat the same day as there are so many cats and kittens which need to be rescued from high kill shelters, we almost always rescue a new cat or kitten the very next day.  If it is not possible for you to take your cat or kitten home the same day, we do charge a boarding fee of $3 per day for supplies and to encourage you to take your newly adopted cat home.  We will board for a maximum of 3 days if needed to allow you time to get needed supplies. Our adoption fees are listed at the link below. This fee includes full vetting, flea treatment, de-worming, spay surgery, FeLV and FIV test, microchip insertion, and vaccinations up to date for the kittens or cats age.  We are able to accept cash, check, paypal, or most major credit cards for the adoption fee.
