Now that he’s experiencing the joys of indoor life, he’s fully embraced the spoiled house cat lifestyle! He’s incredibly grateful to be inside and shows it every day with endless love and affection. Spike is very vocal when he wants attention and loves being close to his people at all times. He would do best in a home where he won’t be left alone for long periods—his ideal family is one with plenty of time and love to give.Spike could thrive as a solo cat if he’s in a home where there’s always someone around to dote on him. However, he would also do great with kitty companions to keep him company. He is easygoing and would likely do well with a dog as long as he’s given a slow and patient introduction. He would also be a great fit for a home with respectful children who understand cat boundaries.This sweetie is incredibly social and craves human companionship—he will happily settle into your lap, purring away as he soaks up all the pets you can give. If you stop too soon, he’ll remind you with sweet little licks, letting you know he’s not done being spoiled yet! He also enjoys playtime, especially with feather toys or any stray bottle caps, and he is a big fan of catnip!With his affectionate nature, social personality, and love of cuddles, Spike is ready to bring warmth and companionship to a lucky family. Adoption Process
Thank you for your interest in Forever Fortunate Felines, a division of Fortunate Pooches and Lab Rescue.  We are very happy to have the opportunity to match you with your purr-fect cat-panion! Once you complete the online application using the below link, you will be able to discuss and ask questions directly to the foster parent.  We believe this is a big advantage to you as our organization is completely foster based, we really understand our cats personalities at a deep level.  This helps to ensure a great match with you and your family. In order to get the process going, would you kindly fill out our detailed online application located here:  https://www.petstablished.com/adoption_form/11683/generic Completing our online application does not commit you to adopt from our rescue.  Rather it helps us to understand your requirements and match you with the best possible cat or kitten. Once you complete the application and it is approved, we can set up a meet and greet and if all works out, you may bring the kittens or cats home the same day.  Please make sure to bring an adequately sized pet carrier with you to your meet and greet.  We recommend a pet carrier which opens from the top as this is the easiest way to place a cat inside a carrier.  If you do decide to adopt, we do expect you to take home your cat the same day as there are so many cats and kittens which need to be rescued from high kill shelters, we almost always rescue a new cat or kitten the very next day.  If it is not possible for you to take your cat or kitten home the same day, we do charge a boarding fee of $3 per day for supplies and to encourage you to take your newly adopted cat home.  We will board for a maximum of 3 days if needed to allow you time to get needed supplies. Our adoption fees are listed at the link below. This fee includes full vetting, flea treatment, de-worming, spay surgery, FeLV and FIV test, microchip insertion, and vaccinations up to date for the kittens or cats age.  We are able to accept cash, check, paypal, or most major credit cards for the adoption fee.
