Meet Charming

Charming is a funny, outgoing cat who will light up your life!  He is truly charming, and he has a lot of love to give to a family of his own.  He is not afraid of people, but would likely need a slow introduction (as we recommend for all cats!) to any other pets in the home, simply because these animals were his competitors for food and resources outside… he is not violent, but he needs to learn that he has everything he needs whether another cat is around or not!     During his travels, Charming did pick up a condition called FIV.  This just means a lowered immune system, and cats can only pass it in utero or through deep bite wounds.  Males often pick it up when being picked on, and I often find that FIV+ cats are the sweetest because they were not the aggressors.  Cats with FIV don’t need any special medication, just an indoor life, quality diet, and good wellness care—what any Catsnap cat needs!  These cats can live the same average lifespan as cats without FIV.  Would you be willing to see Charming for his charm and not his diagnosis?       Thank you for your interest in a CATsNAP cat or kitten!    If you would like to meet a cat, please complete the online application located on our website catsnap.org.     We do not have a walk-in facility; most of our cats are in foster homes.  For this reason, we require an approved application on file before we set up a meet and greet.    Completing an online application does not obligate you to adopt! We care deeply about our cats and want the best match for all involved.    All CATsNAP cats and kittens are:  Vaccination against Panleukopenia (Distemper), Rhinotracheitis, and Calicivirus   Vaccination against Rabies (if animal is over 4 months of age)  Testing for Feline Leukemia (FeLV) and Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV)   Initial de-worming, flea, and ear mite treatment  Sterilization of the animal prior to adoption; no exceptions  Micro-chipping as mandated by state law

Adoption Process
$115 up to 6 mo, $85 6mo & over, unless otherwise stated, assumed acceptance of contract including landlord releases if necessary, vet references, previous animal history, employment history, etc with finalization of adoption.
