Thanks to a kind neighbor and the amazing folks at C.A.R.E, I got my second chance, and wow, have I made the most of it!   Look, I’ll be honest - the adoption center wasn’t my scene. But once I got into my foster home? That’s when the real Garfield emerged! Now I’m living my best life as a professional companion and certified purr machine.   Want to know my perfect day? It starts with claiming the warmest sunspot by the window, follows with some quality lap time (my purring skills are legendary), and includes plenty of “helping” with whatever my foster mom is doing. Working on your computer? I’ll proofread! Taking a break? Don’t worry, I’ll keep your seat warm!   I’m looking for someone who’s home most of the time because, let’s face it, life just better when we’re together. I promise to bring the perfect mix of playfulness and chill vibes to your home. Plus, I’m excellent at turning ordinary moments into cozy memories.   So, what do you say? Adoption Process
Our adoption process has evolved from many years of experience. The goal of our adoption counselors is to make a good match between animal and family. We get to know each cat or dog's unique personality and different needs. If a specific dog, for example, has large amounts of energy and needs lots of space to run, it is unlikely that he would meet the needs of a person who works long hours and would be unable to exercise the dog. It would be a mismatch that would be bad for dog and human alike. Our adoption counselors look forward to working with you to help you find the right pet for your home.
