Meet Marshmallow Fireside, also known affectionately as Chunk! This adorable, golden-eye male tuxedo cat is a young kitten full of personality. Plucked off the streets of Chicago with his brother S'mores, Marshmallow has a round belly perfect for hugging. He and his brother have stuck together through thick and thin, forming a strong bond that is a joy to witness.Marshmallow is a playful little guy who loves to romp around with his siblings, S'mores and Tillie. With a blend of sweet and playful traits, Marshmallow is always up for a good time. He’s also quite the charmer when it comes to interacting with people. Whether he's asking to be picked up or walking on your head to get your attention, Marshmallow knows how to make his presence known.One thing that Marshmallow can't resist is food - he's highly food motivated and will come running at the sound of a treat bag opening. While he may not have had extensive exposure to adult cats and dogs, Marshmallow has shown a curious and fearless nature, ready to explore new interactions and environments.Marshmallow Fireside would thrive in a household that can provide him with plenty of playtime and activity. He's great with children and would enjoy the company of other pets, especially his brother S'mores or foster sister Tillie. Adoption Process
Thank you for your interest in Forever Fortunate Felines, a division of Fortunate Pooches and Lab Rescue.  We are very happy to have the opportunity to match you with your purr-fect cat-panion! Once you complete the online application using the below link, you will be able to discuss and ask questions directly to the foster parent.  We believe this is a big advantage to you as our organization is completely foster based, we really understand our cats personalities at a deep level.  This helps to ensure a great match with you and your family. In order to get the process going, would you kindly fill out our detailed online application located here:  https://www.petstablished.com/adoption_form/11683/generic Completing our online application does not commit you to adopt from our rescue.  Rather it helps us to understand your requirements and match you with the best possible cat or kitten. Once you complete the application and it is approved, we can set up a meet and greet and if all works out, you may bring the kittens or cats home the same day.  Please make sure to bring an adequately sized pet carrier with you to your meet and greet.  We recommend a pet carrier which opens from the top as this is the easiest way to place a cat inside a carrier.  If you do decide to adopt, we do expect you to take home your cat the same day as there are so many cats and kittens which need to be rescued from high kill shelters, we almost always rescue a new cat or kitten the very next day.  If it is not possible for you to take your cat or kitten home the same day, we do charge a boarding fee of $3 per day for supplies and to encourage you to take your newly adopted cat home.  We will board for a maximum of 3 days if needed to allow you time to get needed supplies. Our adoption fees are listed at the link below. This fee includes full vetting, flea treatment, de-worming, spay surgery, FeLV and FIV test, microchip insertion, and vaccinations up to date for the kittens or cats age.  We are able to accept cash, check, paypal, or most major credit cards for the adoption fee.
